Pistols
Octagonal barrels, rifled and signed on the top flats "RUBANS D'ACIER", browned, engraved foliage patterns on the breech ends. Barrel length 21.5 cm, caliber 14 mm, overall length with the breech end 27 cm. Percussion locks engraved with floral motifs, matching engraved hammers. All steel fittings engraved with the same decoration as the locks. Walnut stocks with 10.3 cm of barrel exposure. Finely checkered angled grips, caps with covers for caps, made of steel engraved with leafy corollas. Silver-plated shield-shaped thumb pieces and steel rod with nail head.
Overall length of the pistols: 36.5 cm.
Case
Varnished walnut case lined with green felt, length 40 cm, width 31.5 cm, height 8 cm. Closure with a lock. Complete with all original tools except for a small oil bottle: mallet, ball puller, powder measure, bullet mold, screwdriver, small copper powder flask decorated with foliage and a brass pouring spout, total length 14.5 cm. Two compartments with covers inside. Brass handle on top of the lid, brass plate engraved with the initials "SP". Complete with original key.
