Black "flamand" felt hat; Height of the front part from the curved part 20 cm, Height of the front part from the bottom of the horns 25.5 cm, Height of the back part from the curved part 28.5 cm, Height of the back part from the bottom of the horns 38 cm, width 45 cm, depth 16 cm. Each horn is adorned with a silver fringed tassel. At the front, a large cockade in white and silver trimming (diameter 7.5 cm). Silver trimming gimp consisting of a galloon (width 4 cm) with a woven "cul de dé" design with a black silk stripe in the middle, sewn onto the felt and held at the bottom by a silver button of the Guards du Corps du Roy model 1820 (cast in relief of the face of the sun). Interior lining composed of a 6 cm high black waxed calfskin band, topped with a black silk cap.
Lenticular wooden pompom covered with silver cannetilles with a white wool center, diameter 4.5 cm.
