Black "flamand" felt hat; Height from the front part from the curved section 18 cm, Height from the front part from the base of the horns 26 cm, Height from the back part from the curved section 26.5 cm, Height from the back part from the base of the horns 34 cm, Width 42 cm, Depth 17 cm.
Hatband made of two matte and shiny silver twists, doubling around the uniform button and secured by the same button.
Large-sized silver uniform button, model 1814: half-rounded, embossed with the musketeer's cross of the second company (button diameter 2.6 cm).
Cockade made of silver trimmings with a white silk center (diameter 8.5 cm).
Interior lining consisting of a brown waxed leather band (Height 7 cm) and a black silk lining. White paper label printed in black "MOIZARD successor to Md DULONG Mr Hatter St Honoré Street N° 255 opposite Richelieu Street PARIS".

The regulation on the Musketeers' uniforms describes the full-dress hat trimmed with black feathers on the upper edges and horns adorned with tassels in trimmings. The riding attire hat is devoid of feathers and tassels.
