Black “flamand” felt hat; Height from the front edge at the curved part 18 cm, Height from the front edge at the base of the horns 26 cm, Height from the back edge at the curved part 26.5 cm, Height from the back edge at the base of the horns 34 cm, Width 42 cm, Depth 17 cm. Cord made of three matte and shiny silver twist cords, double-wound around the uniform button and held by the same button. Large silver uniform button, 1814 model: half-rounded, embossed with the cross of the musketeers of the second company (button diameter 2.6 cm). Cockade made of silver braid with a white silk center (diameter 8.5 cm). Interior lining consisting of a band of brown waxed leather (height 7 cm) and a black silk lining. White paper label printed in black "MOIZARD successor to Md DULONG Mr Hatter Rue St Honoré No. 255 opposite Richelieu in PARIS".

The regulations on the Musketeers' uniforms describe the full dress hat adorned with black feathers on the top edges and the horns decorated with tassels in braid. The hat for parade dress is devoid of feathers and tassels.
