In the shape known as with three corners, height of the front part 11.5 cm, height of the rear part 16 cm, made of waterproof felt, edged on each side of the corners with a 2.7 cm wide silver braid woven in point of Hungary. Flat braid 3.8 cm wide, with a 4 mm black stripe in its center, ending in a point, approximately 15 cm long. Cockade in the tricolor colors, diameter 7.8 cm. Uniform button in silver metal stamped with the flaming bomb emblem and the legend "Gendarmerie - Public Order." Interior headgear composed of a black shiny basane topped with black canvas with a torn printed paper label. In the upper part inside, two black lacquered metal clasps are intended to receive a chinstrap.
