Battle of Leipzig. LETTER FROM NICOLAS-CHARLES OUDINOT TO HIS WIFE, Leipzig, October 15, 1813. 18906-14
Letter from Nicolas Charles Oudinot to his wife.
"[...] Yesterday Pajol was seriously wounded, besides having an arm broken by the fall of his horse killed under him, he received several wounds which, although not very dangerous, will keep him out of combat for a long time. [...] Tomorrow is the big day as it will undoubtedly decide the fate of this campaign, I will write to you as soon as communications are reestablished [...], I will renew to you the assurance of the feelings that you have so well engraved in the heart of your Charles."
"Victor is well, I see him often and never without him reminding me of your chapter of respect towards our mother."
