Fully handwritten table detailing the nominative composition of the general officers of the Company of Poitou, the gentlemen and officers of the four sections composing it, totaling 90 men.
Three major-generals: Marquis de Mauroy, captain, Count de Lambertye, and Count de Dozé, and two platoon leaders, Count du Sablé(?) and de la Bussière.
1st section, Chevalier Louis de Russel, comprised of 23 men.
2nd section, Mr. de Barbezieux, comprised of 22 men.
3rd section, Mr. de Plenismoreau(?), comprised of 23 men.
4th section, Mr. de Marin, comprised of 22 men.
"We, Frederick Prince of Hesse, Governor of Maastricht certify that the Gentlemen and Officers named above in the State of the Company have served in the defense of this city with the loyalty and courage that always distinguish the French nobility. In witness whereof, we have signed and affixed the seal of our Arms in Maastricht on March 15, 1793. Frederick of Hesse."
"The present state certified true by us Major General commanding the said company in Maastricht on March 15, 1793. Signed: Marquis de Mauroy."
