Mr. Jean Baptiste Gabriel Joseph BRULÉ, a notary in Montreuil in Pas de Calais and mayor of this city, attests that Mr. Alexis Hilarion Leroy de Barde, knight of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem and Malta, is alive and presented himself before him on June 29, 1779. The attestation is signed by the notary Brulé and the recipient "Le Cher de Barde."
This document was certified by the sub-prefect on January 11, 1825.
Seal of the sub-prefecture of Montreuil, Pas de Calais.
