Appointed as Hundred Swiss of the King's Household [...]
Followed by the request of Mr. Coulaux:
"Mr. Coulaux humbly implores H.R.H. Prince de Condé, considering his services and his wound, to solicit His Majesty to kindly grant him the Cross of Saint Louis. Signed: Coulaux".
Certification and signature of Count Alexandre de Damas dated March 22, 1801:
"I certify that during the entire time Mr. Coulaux served in the Infantry Regiment of Damas as sergeant major [...]
