HEREBY CERTIFY that Mr FRANÇOIS ST GERMAIN DE VAQUIER, a French Gentleman from the Province of Périgord, Émigré in September 1791, participated in the 1792 campaign with the Army of the Princes, brothers of King Louis XVI, as an attached officer under Our command in the Noble Cavalry. He was present in all the engagements in which the Cavalry was involved during his time with the Army, and he conducted himself with honor, distinguishing himself through his zeal and courage.
In witness whereof, We have issued this Certificate signed by Our own hand, countersigned by the Secretary of Our Commands, and bearing the Seal of Our Souls.
