Entirely in dark blue wool, fastening straight at the front with nine buttons, one missing, entirely piped in scarlet. Collar with a square notch closing with a metal clip, pointed cuffs in scarlet wool with dark blue piping, in brass embossed with two crossed cannons surmounted by a flaming bomb. Turnbacks in scarlet wool adorned with a flaming grenade cut out of dark blue wool and sewn on, scarlet piping, each point completed with a large uniform button, 2.1 cm in diameter. Shoulder straps in dark blue wool covered with scarlet wool. Front panel entirely in dark blue wool piped in scarlet. This panel is attached on both sides of the coat with twelve large uniform buttons. Inner lining in ecru linen canvas.
