BELT BUCKLE PLAQUE OF THE IMPERIAL GENDARMERIE, First Empire. 29366

Gilded silver rectangular plaque with cut corners (H 7.1 cm, width H 8.7 cm with the curvature; width 8.2 cm without the curvature), in the center of which is riveted a rectangular plaque with cut corners; it is made of silver embossed in relief with the imperial eagle perched on Jupiter's thunderbolt shining with a star in each bottom corner, above the eagle a ribbon bearing the inscription "IMPERIAL GENDARMERIE," each corner is decorated with a star on a sun background.
On the back, the plaque is complete with its buckle and two prongs.

An authenticity certificate of the item including the description published on the site, the period, the sale price, accompanied by one or more color photographs is automatically provided for any item priced over 130 euros. Below this price, each certificate is charged 5 euros.
