Walnut stock with all steel fittings, acceptance stamp marked "1811 / EF / BY / SE / SM", wood stamped with a shield "B". Barrel with five short facets at breech then round, dated "1811" and stamped "B", "S", "EF", length 12.65 cm; breech tang signed "M an 9", length with the breech tang 16.7 cm. Flintlock mechanism signed "Maubeuge Manufre Imple", stamped "B" under the crown of Bouyssavy Daniel (Maubeuge from 1808 to 1816). All steel fittings stamped "D" under crown for Darcantel Nicolas (Maubeuge from 1807 to 1817). Steel ramrod with nail head stamped following the "D" under the crown of Darcantel Nicolas.
