NOTE:
The dragoon rifle model 1842-1847 has modifications on the buttplate and its two screws, with 1847 lock. This 1847 modification is verified by the "M" engraved after the year on the breech tang. The trigger guard is made of iron and bears the two finger notches. The "T" modification indicates that the rifle has retained its original characteristics and was transformed with the same technical characteristics as the "T" or "T bis" infantry rifle models.
