Pistols
Octagonal cannons slightly blunderbussed at the mouth, scratched and signed on the upper side panels “CANNON” “A RUBANS”, blued and burnished, decorated with two gold fillets at the mouth and gold fillets and daisies near the tail of cylinder head. Length of barrels 21.9 cm, caliber 14 mm, length with breech tail 26.5 cm. Percussion plates engraved with floral decorations and a wading bird, dogs engraved with acanthus leaves. Blued steel plates and hammers. All steel fittings engraved with a wading bird and a landscape with a house. Underguard with finger rest, adjustable triggers. Walnut mounts freeing the barrel by 11 cm. Finely squared sloping crosses, they are sculpted around the caps with a large frieze of acanthus leaves. Steel caps engraved with corollas of foliage. Oval-shaped vermeil thumb pieces and nail-head blued steel sticks.
Length of guns: 36.5 cm.

Cassette
Varnished walnut box covered in green felt, length 52.5 cm, width 29.5 cm, H 8.3 cm. Closure with two hooks and a lock. Complete box of all its original tools: mallet, bullet puller, powder dispenser, bullet mold, screwdriver, small copper powder bulb decorated with a hunting trophy and brass pouring spout, one length total of 13 cm. Inside, two lidded compartments hold primers and lead bullets.

Good general condition, box of family pistols, never cleaned, perfectly homogeneous and complete set.
Pistols in very good condition, all the fittings have retained their original burnishing, the wood has very slight wear and tear, the barrels have retained their blueing and burnishing with ribbons and all their gold inscribed decorations but they have some traces of 'oxidation.
Tools and accessories in very good condition.
Box in good condition, cracked underside. Missing key.
