ESSONNE FIREFIGHTERS HELMET, type 1933, Fifth Republic. 25491
Slightly trapezoidal shaped bomb in nickel and chrome stainless steel, externally polished, retaining the characteristics of the 1926 model helmet with ventilation holes, leaf springs and chin strap fasteners. Folded brass bangle straddling the outer edge of the visor and the neck cover. Flat present on the front of the crest with flaming bomb attached in brass. Crest fixed with checkered rivets. Frontal plaque representing a shield with flaming grenade, surmounted by a crown, oak and laurel branches and a ribbon bearing the inscription “SAPEURS POMPIERS DE L'ESSONNE”. First-class interior headdress in soft ocher-colored leather, cut into six wolf teeth. Brown leather chin strap.
