Tab entirely in black patent leather. The center is decorated with a gilded brass plaque embossed with the crowned imperial eagle surmounting two crossed cannons. H of the plate 14.5 cm, width 14 cm. Flap lined in black morocco with interior pocket covered in dark blue velvet.
H of the tab 27.8 cm (without the rings), width at the top 17 cm, width at the bottom 25 cm.
Three rectangular hanging loops with rounded edges.

Fairly good condition, gilding of the plate missing, some losses in the rush bordering the bottom of the tab.
