Cardboard body covered with black silk fabric, H 22.5 cm, bordered with a 2.7 cm lizard-woven gold braid in the upper part and a 2.5 cm black velvet bourdalou in the lower part. Black varnished cap diameter 23 cm. Visor in waxed leather, black on the outside and green on the inside, 6 cm.
Metal cockade stamped in relief with a tricolor lacquered radiant sun, diameter 7 cm. Type 1830 plaque in gilded brass stamped in relief with a rooster surrounded by an oak branch and a laurel branch on a background of a bundle of flags, the rooster is placed on a shield whose center is decorated with two crossed cannons with in the upper part a flaming bomb and in the lower part a pile of cannon balls, beaded framing rod. H of the plate 14 cm, width 11 cm.
Chinstraps composed of a leather chin strap covered in fine black fabric and covered with a series of fifteen stamped gilded brass scales cut into four festoons; and a round rosette stamped in its center with a flaming bomb on a sandblasted background, bordered by a protruding molding (diameter 4 cm). Chinstrap length 21.5 cm.
Inner headdress in black waxed sheepskin cut into twelve wolf teeth. At the bottom of the cap, a white label printed in black is stuck with the Masonic symbols, the Catholic cross, the face of the radiant sun, the face of the radiant moon, etc.: “H CHAMPIN / Md Chapelier, / Place St George / n°5, / IN LYON. ". Flame pompom in daffodil wool topped with a scarlet flame with ring and ring in golden cannetille threads, diameter of the pompom 6.5 cm, total height with the flame 18 cm.
