FIREFIGHTERS HELMET, model of October 5, 1933, Fifth Republic. 25487
Slightly trapezoidal shaped bomb in nickel and chrome stainless steel, externally polished, retaining the characteristics of the 1926 model helmet with ventilation holes, leaf springs and chin strap fasteners. Folded brass bangle straddling the outer edge of the visor and the neck cover. Flat present on the front of the crest with flaming bomb attached in brass. Crest fixed with checkered rivets. Frontal plaque representing a shield with flaming bomb surmounted by a crown, with oak and laurel branches on each side, all surmounted by a ribbon bearing the inscription “SAPEURS POMPIERS” (name of the commune not struck). Black leather chin strap. Interior cover in ocher leather.
