HELMET FOR FIREFIGHTERS FROM THE RIOM TABAC MANUFACTURE, type 1895, Third Republic. 25259

Helmet made entirely of brass. Crest with protruding moldings decorated at the front with a grenade, fixed with four screws per fin. Brass front plate stamped with a flaming grenade surrounded by an oak branch and a laurel branch and ribbon bearing the inscription “SAPEURS POMPIERS MANU DE TABACS DE RIOM”. Tubular quill holder with square section. Inner cap in black waxed leather cut into eight wolf teeth. Brown leather chin strap with brass buckle.
