OFFICER'S COAT HANGER ORNAMENT OF THE 1st CARABINIER REGIMENT, 1852-1865, Second Empire. 27139
Round in shape, diameter 12 cm, in sky blue cloth lined with sky blue striped blue cloth. It is covered with a pomegranate embroidered in silver threads and cannetilles, the bomb of which is marked with the number “I” with woven silver braid at the end of a die, 1.8 cm wide.

NOTE :
The 1st and 2nd rifle regiments were merged in November 1865 and they formed a regiment of 8 squadrons (6 after 1867) within the Imperial Guard.
