Bomb with gold-plated copper neck brace, gutter at the base of the bomb of the 1845 model. H 12 cm from the base of the gutter to the top of the bomb, H 20 cm from the base of the band to the top of the bomb.
Turban made of strong leather, covered with panther skin. Visor and neck cover in gilded copper, each edged with a golden bangle folded astride the outer border. Visor lined with green waxed morocco, neck cover lined with black waxed morocco.
Crest in stamped and gilded copper, composed of a mask stamped with a flaming bomb surmounted by a Medusa head in relief with above a crown of laurel and oak branches; two fins struck with a decreasing series of 8 gadroons framed with pearls of acanthus leaves and palmettes and in the upper part with a series of laurel leaves; cover plate stamped with a decoration depicting a braided mane. Each fin is held to the bomb by means of four screws and the mask by one screw. H of fins 11.5 cm, H of mask 13 cm, width of mask 4.2 cm.
Ornament of the crest in gilded copper composed of an olive decorated with palmettes H 2.8 cm, Ø 6.3 cm, a serrated disc Ø 3.8 cm, and a socket with laurel branches and palmettes, H3 .2 cm, Ø 2.6 cm; black horsehair puff H 5.8 cm.
Mane of black horsehair, apparent length of approximately 70 cm.
Plumet holder in gilded brass decorated in relief with laurel leaves. H 5 cm.
Chinstraps composed of a metal chin strap covered in black cloth covered with a series of chiseled rings in the shape of an intertwined 8 H maximum 4.4 cm, H minimum 2.5 cm ending with a rosette stamped with a radiant sun on sandblasted bottom Ø 5.4 cm, fixed to the turban using a chiseled screw. The chin straps are linked by a black patent leather strap.
Inner leather headdress of nine wolf teeth, the edges of which are iron-gilded.
