Entirely in dark blue, almost black cloth, with madder piping, decorated on the front with a square piece of sewn fabric decorated with a navy anchor cut out of madder cloth. Headband topped with a madder soutache in flat braid. Kepi decorated on all four sides with a madder soutache. Cap surrounded by madder soutache. Black patent leather visor, square in shape, lined with green waxed leather with folded bangle astride the outer edges. Inner headdress composed of a black patent leather headband and black canvas.
