Bomb in silver-plated copper, the gutter of the base of the bomb is of the 1858 model with a simple round bangle. Depth of the bomb 8 cm.
Strong leather turban covered with an original navy cow headband. H of the turban on the sides 6 cm.
Visor and neck cover in silver-plated copper, each edged with a gilt brass bangle folded astride the outer edge, visor lined with black patent leather, neck cover with missing lining.
Crest in gilded brass, stamped and burnished with agate stone on the protruding parts. It is composed of a mask stamped with a flaming bomb surmounted by a head of Medusa in relief with a crown of laurel branches above, fixed in the lower part by means of a gilded brass screw with a half-headed spherical, width of the crest at its center 4.5 cm, H 14 cm; two fins struck with a decreasing series of 8 gadroons framed with acanthus leaf and palmette beads and in the upper part with a series of laurel leaves, the lower part of the fins is folded outwards and scalloped, decorated with a series of acanthus leaves and attached to the bomb using four gilded brass screws with half-spherical heads, H of the fins 11.5 cm; cover plate stamped with a decoration depicting a braided mane.
Ornament of the crest in gilded brass composed of an olive decorated with palmettes (H 2.5 cm, diameter 6.4 cm), a socket (H 3 cm, diameter 2.5 cm) with laurel branches and palmettes including the base is decorated with a small serrated disc (diameter 3.8 cm), and a scarlet horsehair puff (H 5.5 cm) whose base is reinforced by a braided scarlet cord. Plumet holder in gilded brass, decorated with laurel leaves (H 4.1 cm). Chinstraps model 1858; mounted on a leather chin strap covered in fine black cloth, covered with a series of round gold brass rings chiseled and intertwined, maximum width 3.9 cm, minimum width 1.9 cm, length 12.5 cm, finished with a round rosette in gilded brass stamped in relief with laurel leaves (diameter 5.4 cm), fixed to the turban by means of an iron screw. Mane of black horsehair, apparent length of approximately 60 cm. Inner cap in black patent leather cut with nine wolf teeth gilded with iron on the edges.
