DRAGON POLICE HAT, with strap, July Monarchy. 29076
Hat body in light green cloth with scarlet piping. These pipings come together on the right side to form a point whose apex reaches the bottom of the hat.
Two side flaps of elliptical shape in light green cloth bordered on their convex development with a braid of madder wool woven cul-de-dé-dice (width 2 cm); these two elliptical shaped pieces are sewn to the body of the hat.
On the front, in the curvilinear angle formed by the recess of the two flaps, a bright madder cloth pomegranate is sewn (H 6.5 cm, width 3.8 cm).
At the front corner of the crown of the hat, the madder cord is attached for a pompom.
Inner cover in black canvas.

Good condition, moth holes, missing pompom, cul-de-dé braid added later, interior headdress worn and cut at the bottom.
