Eight-sided thunder barrel, dated “1818”, length 1, m. Hallmarked “T” (probably the T of the “DT” hallmark of the reviser Dombret) on the left side, and “N” in an oval of inspector Louis Nottret on the right side.
Plate of the An XIII model pistol signed “Mre Royale De Versailles” and stamped with the “G” under a star in a rectangle by the reviser Augustin Germain.
Walnut frame with long barrel, registered “148” on the stock. All the fittings are made of brass except the leaves and the escutcheon which are made of iron, they are all stamped “D” from Jean-Baptiste Deschaseaux, first class controller, the mouthpiece stamped “H” from Jean-Baptiste Hardy, controller of second class.
Original nail head stick marked “D” by Deschaseaux.

This model of rifle, lighter than its contemporaries, is manufactured only at the Versailles Manufacture, 201 examples were produced in 1817, supplemented by 200 examples in 1818. This rifle is part of the last production before the closure of the factory.
