Cast and silvered brass frame with openwork shell, cruiser with cap cover, thumbscrew with shell and antennae, quillon in stock. Fondue fondue imitating filigree. Pommel decorated on each side with the Musketeers' cross with five corner flames. H of frame 15.4 cm. Blade plate engraved on each side "2de COMPAGNIE DES MOUSQUETAIRES DU ROY", heel engraved "De la Marque de la Mouchette à Solingen", back engraved "Giverne Md Fourbisseur Rue Vieille Boucherie à l'Épée Royale à Paris". Length 80 cm.
