Entirely in gold trimmings, flat body finished with three turns, soft fringes called "well ropes", half-spherical button in gilded brass stamped with an imperial eagle with the inscription "IMPERIAL GUARD". Lining in dark blue, almost black cloth. Golden brass hook.
