Armband (central part). In scarlet moire silk. Bearing the legend in gold letters “AT THE PERIL OF THEIR LIVES” and a five-pointed star.
In the center, the decoration shows the design of the Legion of Honor, a star with five double rays with buttoned points enameled in white, framed by a branch of laurel and oak leaves enameled in green, linked together by a ribbon. Center of the star representing a skull in relief in a scarlet enameled disc.
Diameter of the decoration 4.1 cm.
Very good condition, insolated gold letters.
Nickel-plated metal plaque representing a radiant sun, diameter 8.1 cm, in the center of which is the design of the Legion of Honor, a star with five double rays with buttoned points enameled in white, framed by a branch of laurel leaves and green enameled oak, linked together by a ribbon. In the center of the star, a scarlet enameled disc with a skull in relief. Back with hook pin and double hook.
In a perfect state.
Bronze medal, diameter 6.3 cm. The obverse depicts the framed decoration of the motto “DECORATE AT THE PERIL OF THEIR LIVES” with beaded wand. On the reverse “HONOR AND HOMELAND” with beaded wand. Presented in its original cardboard and blue velvet box, marked on the back of the lid “F.I.A. / Engraver Editor / LYON - DARDILLY”.
