Silver star with five double rays with buttoned points, enameled in white, surmounted by a crown. Star surrounded by light green enamelled oak and laurel leaves.
Obverse center in gold representing against a background of a radiant sun the profile of the crowned head of the Emperor, head to sinister profile, surrounded by a circle of blue enamel with the inscription in gold letters: “NAPOLEON EMPEREUR THE FRENCH ".
Center reverse showing the Imperial Eagle, head to dexter, on a field of Azure, surrounded by a circle of blue enamel with the gold motto: “HONOR AND HOMELAND”.
Star surmounted by a crown, independent and surmounted by a small ball through which the smooth suspension ring passes, topped with a small cross with eight florets and eight arches. Small green and scarlet enamels adorn the base of the crown. The crown has a hook inside to be passed through the suspension ball of the easel located between the two upper branches of the cross.
