An interior bellows on the back cover contains a copy of a letter addressed by Commander Bastide to Mrs. Hélène Mathéi to inform her of the death of René Maux on the battlefield, as well as three identity plates in the name of “BRUN Georges Albert 1896” registration number “2485”, two plates also marked “AGEN” and one marked “Bordeaux”.
