PAIR OF LIEUTENANT'S OR SECOND-LIEUTENANT'S EPAULETS OF THE DRAGONS OF THE IMPERIAL GUARD, model 1856, Second Empire. 26925

Epaulet and counter-epaulet entirely in thread, gold cannetilles, body in gold braid, lined with dark green cloth, gold fringes and turns of the so-called “well ropes” model. Golden uniform buttons, domed and stamped with the imperial eagle with the inscription “IMPERIAL GUARD”.

Good condition, oxidation from use of the trimmings, a few moth holes in the lining sheet.
