Leather shaft covered with a dark sky blue cloth sleeve, H at the front 17.5 cm and 22.5 cm at the back. Bourdalou in black patent leather (H 3 cm). In the upper part, braided braid in white wool (H 2 cm). At the back, white wool braid (H 8 cm) with pewter half-bell button. Black patent cowhide leather cap, diameter 14.5 cm. on each side of the barrel a white piping is sewn vertically.
On the front part, a leather cockade, diameter 5.5 cm, printed in relief and tricolor lacquered, held by a half-spherical pewter bell button with three braids of white wool braid (H 12.5 cm, L 3 cm). Wave-shaped visor in black patent leather with green wax inside, width 5.5 cm.
Inner headdress in black waxed sheepskin cut with eight wolf teeth. At the bottom of the cap is stuck a white paper label printed in sky blue from the manufacturer “ALEXIS GODILLOT PARIS” and the size of the shako “57”.
Half-spherical pompom in scarlet wool thistle diameter 5.5 cm, mounted on 3 cm thick wood, with iron rod bent in half for attachment to the shako.
