Hat body in madder cloth with piping in dark blue cloth imitating a false flame, placed on the vertical seams and on the middle of the faces. These pipings come together on the right side to form a point whose apex reaches the bottom of the hat.
Two elliptical-shaped side flaps in dark blue cloth, bordered on their convex development with madder cloth piping; its two flaps at the top in the middle attach to the hat by means of a ring and a black lacquered metal hook, H 12 cm each.
On the front, in the curvilinear angle formed by the recess of the two flaps, a dark blue cloth badge composed of two crossed lances is sewn (width 5.5 cm, H 7 cm). At the front corner of the crown of the hat, a madder wool tassel is attached. Inner cap in black varnished sheepskin.
H of the hat in the right part 12 cm, 14 cm in the left part.
