Hat body in dark sky blue cloth with white wool piping. These pipings come together on the right side to form a point whose apex reaches the bottom of the hat.
Two side flaps of elliptical shape in dark sky blue cloth bordered on their convex development with a white wool braid (width 3 cm); these two elliptical shaped pieces are sewn to the body of the hat.
On the front, in the curvilinear angle drawn by the recess of the two flaps, two crossed spears surmounted by an imperial crown are embroidered in white thread, a crown whose interior is in madder thread (H of the embroidery 4.8 cm, width 5.4 cm).
At the front corner of the peak of the hat, a white wool tassel pompom is attached.
Inner cap entirely in black sheepskin with two small buttons intended to secure the chin strap.
H of the hat on the left part 13.8 cm, 13 cm on the right part.
