One-piece hemispherical bomb in leather covered in thick sky blue felt, 13.6 cm deep, pierced with two suction cup holes. Visor, neck cover in blackened patent leather, surrounded by a nickel silver band folded astride the outer edge, approximately 1.8 cm wide. Bourdalou in patent leather garnishing the base of the perimeter of the bomb. Chin strap composed of: a nickel silver chin strap with circular rings intertwined two by two forming a bracelet; two rosettes fixed to the sides of the headdress at the level of the bourdalou, they are in nickel silver stamped in relief in the shape of a lion's head. Metal roundel stamped with a radiant sun, tricolor lacquered, diameter 4.5 cm in diameter. Front badge representing a hunting horn in stamped and cut nickel silver, H 2.3 cm, width 4.6 cm. Crest composed of a mask and two fins. Nickel silver mask stamped with a Medusa head in the upper part and a palmette in the lower part. It is garnished with a stamped nickel silver cover plate in the shape of a hair and two intertwined snakes (secured with two nickel silver screws). Leather fins printed in relief with a rush in the upper and lower parts, each garnished with a nickel silver aerator 1.6 cm in diameter pierced with seven ventilation holes, maximum height of the fins 4.1 cm. The crest is placed on a base of blackened patent leather cut into the shape of large festoons 5.5 cm to 3 cm wide. White horsehair mane with braid, length approximately 45 cm. Blackened sheepskin headdress sewn directly on the bomb, cut with six wolf teeth, in their brass eyelet end allowing the passage of a lace. Second chin strap in thick blackened leather fixed inside the cap.
