CAPTAIN OF DRAGONS POLICE HAT with gusset, model 1891, Third Republic. 27186

In black cloth, rounded flaps bordered with white piping. The flaps attach to the cup at the top using a black lacquered metal hook. Three grade soutaches arranged in the shape of an inverted V in silver braid. Bellows and flaps. Inner headdress composed of a black patent leather headband and a black silk headdress.
