Cardboard barrel covered with a sleeve of dark sky blue cloth. Cap and bourdalou in black patent leather. Woven braid “cul de dé” in silver trimmings striped in its center of madder silk, H 2.5 cm. Tricolor metal cockade attached to the barrel by means of a half-spherical brass button and a braid in silver trimmings mixed with madder silk. On the front of the shako, stamped and cut brass hunting horn. On each side of the barrel in the upper part, a brass aerator is fixed and in the lower part a brass lion's head is intended to attach the chin strap. At the back at the top, a third brass lion's head. Visor in black waxed leather lined with green waxed leather and lined with a brass bangle. Inner cap made of black patent leather cut with six wolf teeth bordered by an iron-gilded frieze. Carcass lined with dark sky blue paper. Curb chinstrap composed of intertwined brass rings attached to a black patent leather chin strap.
