Hat body in scarlet cloth with daffodil piping placed on the vertical seams and on the middle of the faces. These pipings come together on the right side to form a point whose apex reaches the bottom of the hat.
Two side flaps of elliptical shape, in dark blue cloth, bordered on their convex development with braid and piping in daffodil cloth; these two pieces are sewn to the bottom of the hat and are connected together at each end by a seam, folding down as desired. The flaps are completely sewn to the body of the hat.
On the front, in the curvilinear angle drawn by the recess of the two flaps, a pomegranate embroidered in daffodil wool is sewn (H 3.5 cm, width 2 cm). Interior cover entirely in ocher leather canvas. H of flaps: 10.7 cm, total H 15 cm.
Wool pompom with green head of the 4th regiment and soft daffodil-colored fringes.
