Star with five double rays with dappled points, enameled in white, framed by a branch of oak and laurel leaves enameled in light green. Obverse center in gold representing the effigy of the Republic in head to sinister profile, bordered by a blue enamel scroll with the inscription in gold letters “FRENCH REPUBLIC 1870”. Center reverse presenting two crossed tricolor enameled flags bordered by a blue listel bearing the inscription “HONOR AND HOMELAND”.
Bail in the shape of a branch of laurel and green enameled oak leaves, independent and topped with a small ball through which the suspension ring passes.
Scarlet moire silk ribbon with rosette.
Total height with bail 5.8 cm, diameter 4 cm.

An authenticity certificate of the item including the description published on the site, the period, the sale price, accompanied by one or more color photographs is automatically provided for any item priced over 130 euros. Below this price, each certificate is charged 5 euros.
