TRUMPET FLAME OF THE LANCER REGIMENT OF THE IMPERIAL GUARD, Second Empire. 26918
Flame in white cloth originally double-sided but having retained only one, square shape 45 cm x 45 cm without fringes, embroidered in its center in dark blue wool threads with an “N” surmounted of the imperial crown, H of the embroidered part 22 cm, width 21 cm. The flame is bordered with a dark blue braid 1.6 cm wide, sewn 2.4 cm from the edge of the flame. It is bordered on three sides with dark blue fringes 6 cm long. In the upper part, two ocher calfskin loops covered with dark blue braid are each attached by means of a brass half-bell button, intended to attach the flame to the trumpet.

Bad condition, the flame is insolated, the dark blue parts have become sky blue, the border braid is in poor condition with accidents and losses. The back side has been removed and replaced with an ivory silk.
