FIRST OFFICER'S DRESS BELT PLATE, model 1922, Third Republic. 28484

Silver metal buckle stamped in relief with the head of a jellyfish, bordered by a protruding frieze. Held closed with a clasp depicting a snake. Diameter 51mm.
The 1922 model silver metal plates are specific to the different “white” units, cavalry, commissariat, train, hunters, African light infantry, legion (cavalry), etc. and intended to be worn with light blue outfits with silver buttons.
