Black felt hat trimmed at the front with two black silk ribbons, a tricolor trimmings cockade (diameter 9 cm), a golden button (diameter 2.2 cm) with imperial eagle surrounded by a branch of oak and a laurel branch and at the top of a ribbon bearing the inscription “SENAT” and a black velvet braid embroidered with golden threads of oak leaves and foliage (width of the braid 4.5 cm). Inner headdress in ivory silk gilded with iron “11 Fg St HONORÉ / LIÉGAULT / SUCr DE BOURDIER” and beige leather headband.
