“His Majesty, considering that it is appropriate for the good of his service, to appoint a second aide major in the Coast Guard Captaincy of Barre de Mont and knowing that Sr. Sourrouïl de la Cailletière has the necessary quality to carry out his duties well. She appointed this employee and established him as assistant major of the Coast Guard Captaincy of the Barre de Mont, and wants him to have the same rank as the captains of the companies detached from the Coast Guard.
“Calls for and orders his Majesty to Mons. the Duke of Penthièvre, Admiral of France, to the governor or general commander in the Province of Poitou and other officers who will be responsible for having the said Sr de la Cailletière recognized in the said capacity, assistant major of the Coast Guard Captaincy of the Barre de Mont and make it obeyed and heard by all those and so it will belong. Done at Versailles on November xxx, one thousand seven hundred and fifty one. » **

Done at Versailles on the 20th Xbre 1751. Signed L.J. M. de Bourbon”.
