SABRETACHE TROOP OF THE REGIMENT OF GUIDES OF THE IMPERIAL GUARD, model 1854, Second Empire. 27095
Sabretache in black waxed leather. Interior pocket lined with black canvas bearing the stamp “COMMISSION VERIFICATION / Garde / IMPERIALE”, H 26 cm, 18 cm wide at the top and 23.5 cm at the bottom. Flap covered in dark green cloth with buffalo rush dyed golden yellow and saddle-stitched on the outer edge. Framing braid in golden yellow wool woven with sticks, width 3 cm. A brass plate stamped in relief and cut with the Great Imperial Arms is fixed in its center by means of a lace, H 17 cm, width 12.8 cm.
H of the sabretache 30 cm, width at the top 19 cm, width at the bottom 27.5 cm.
It is completed with three brass suspension rings in the shape of a rounded rectangle (rounded vertical sides). Complete with three suspension straps in bleached buffalo with stitched edges, brass buckles, width 2 cm.
