Sabretache in black patent leather with interior pocket lined in black canvas, H of the pocket 25.5 cm, width at the top 17.5 cm, width at the bottom 22.4 cm. Tab hot-stamped inside "Regt des Guides", an imperial crown, dated 1865 and registered "308", it is covered in scarlet cloth with a golden yellow waxed leather band folded astride the outer edge and sewn . Framing braid, width 3 cm, in golden yellow wool woven with sticks. In its center is fixed by means of a lace a brass plate stamped in relief and cut with the Great Imperial Arms, H 17 cm, width 12.8 cm.
H of the sabretache 29 cm, width at the top 19 cm, width at the bottom 27.4 cm.
It is completed with three brass rings in the shape of a rounded rectangle (rounded vertical sides).
