Black patent leather tab hot-stamped on the back of the 10th regiment of Chasseurs à cheval “10e CHAS”, registered “905”, dated 1862, with in the center an imperial eagle in brass and stamped in relief, H of the tab the plate 33.5 cm, width at the top 23 cm, width at the bottom 31.5 cm. H of the eagle 17 cm, width 12 cm. Interior in black waxed leather fitted with a beige canvas pocket, H 27 cm, width at the top 21 cm, width at the bottom 25 cm. Three rectangular brass suspension rings with rounded edges, H 2.2 cm, width 3.5 cm. It is accompanied by a bleached buffalo suspension strap, 2.5 cm wide, registered “513”, with brass buckles.
