Dark blue cloth coat, yellow piping, buttoning right at the front and closing with nine buttonholes. Ecru canvas lining marked in ink with a costume designer code “18-E 10”. Collar in yellow cloth piped in dark blue.
Blue pointed sleeve facings and yellow piping, each garnished with two small, mismatched Second Empire National Guard module buttons. Long basques with yellow upturns, the four lower corners are garnished with a hunting horn in cut blue cloth; false pockets with yellow piping, each fitted with two buttons.

Average condition, accidents and moth holes with quite numerous repairs, buttons missing and partly replaced by buttons from the National Guard Second Empire sometimes Third Republic, epaulet straps later changed to white canvas straps, interior lining with repairs and change of sheets.
