TRUMPET DOLMAN OF CHASSEUR À CHEVAL OF THE IMPERIAL GUARD, Second Empire. 28312
Dolman model 1857, in scarlet cloth with white braids and braids. Scarlet collar bordered with white braid. The front buttons with 18 white wool braids each garnished with five pewter half-bell buttons stamped with the crowned imperial eagle. Dark green cloth facings edged with a white wool braid sewn into a point. The back is decorated with a Hungarian knot in white wool soutache and the back seams are covered with white braid framed with white wool soutache. Interior lining in ecru canvas, with ink stamp of the regiment consisting of an imperial crown followed by the inscription “Ch de la G”, service number and receipt stamp erased. Interior waist belt in ocher leather.

Good condition, color of the dolman not insulated, some moth holes and repairs, a larger repair in the lower right part, 17 cm wide x 2.5 cm high above the white braid.
