IRON OFFICER'S SWORD WITH MUSKETEER, Circa 1700-1720. 25906AJC

Full steel frame. Guard with double inverted quillons, smooth, width of the guard at the quillons 10 cm, fluted brass finial serving as a support between the shell and the escutcheon, with finely openwork iron mesh ring and donkey step. Fluted ovoid iron pommel. Filigree iron wooden rocket framed by two solid iron ferrules decorated with lines. Triangular white blade, length 81 cm. Total length 98 cm.

Good condition, slight oxidation on the blade. Without sheath. Composed sword.
