Model in steel plated with a sheet of brass, composed of a plastron and a backrest.

CHESTPLATE
Registered “982”, lined with ten brass nails and lined with a sheet of brass itself lined with six brass rivets. In the center is fixed a steel glory in the shape of a radiant sun on which is attached an oval brass badge stamped with the imperial eagle on a sandblasted background framed by laurel branches. Breastplate marked with the Klingenthal Manufacture 18... (illegible), 1eT, 2L”. (1st size, 2nd width).
He kept six interior hooks (from his original nine) for the quilted vest.

Registered "1071", lined with six brass nails, lined with a brass plate itself lined with six brass rivets, garnished at the top with two leather straps covered with a double brass chain with intertwined round rings with brass lock. Complete with its seven hooks (out of eight original) for the quilting. Marked by the Klingenthal Manufacture ... 1eT, 2L (1st size, 2nd width). Leather belt with brass and steel buckle.
